Farm Dog Bakery
- ShantiDec. 23, 2019Horrible Consistency of Treats
I do not recommend this place because of their extreme inconsistency in the dog treats they make. The 1 star is kept for the flavor since my dog loves the flavor of these treats, the 4 star loss is because of the inconsistency in size and quality of the treats, and the unfriendliness of the people. When we first walked in to purchase the treats we were not greeted and were completely ignored when we tried to say a greeting. We were only acknowledged after a few more minutes of being there even though the place was full of volunteers and the others who keep the place running. Even then, it was only an acknowledgement after we made it clear we were interested in buying some of their dog treats. I purchased one small 8 oz bag of peanut butter flavored dog treats, that costed me $4.50. Within that bag there were several different heights/thicknesses of the treats while the treats in the top portion of the bag were burnt. Out of that same bag, some of the treats were normal sized, others were super thin, some were thin on one side and fat on the other, while other treats were so fat that they are at least an inch tall, with some of these fatter treats being a little under an inch tall (roughly 7/8 inches tall).
