I took my oldest/largest fur baby on this hike with some family that was visiting and we all absolutely loved it. With all of the rain we got this year it was beautiful and the hike itself wasn’t too difficult. My pup opted to walk through the river on the way up but I carried him across the rocks on the way back. The road to the trailhead coming from Clinton Keith is a bit treacherous as it is only one lane filled with potholes and on the edge of a cliff at some points but we were lucky and only ran into one other vehicle on the way there and luckily it was just past one of the turn outs so we were able to back into that. With that being said, it was definitely worth it and my boy and I will definitely be going back.
- BrittneyMay 24, 2021Good short hike
It was a nice short little 1.5 mile hike after figuring out how to find the proper trail up to the waterfall. I relied mainly on the dogs guidance as there was no trail markings so we just kinda guessed. Definitely wasn't a huge fan of the one way road there and back especially with some major potholes. Though I would definitely consider coming back after theres been some rain as the falls was rather disappointing due to the drought

that part at the beginning is pretty easy. there's rocks lined up that you can walk across or you can walk through the water which is extremely shallow.

This hike is listed as "easy" but there is one section in the beginning of the hike that is challenging. There is a standing body of water that needs to be crossed and depending on the level of the water, can be difficult to manage.
