Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor

Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor is a dog-friendly spot to enjoy seaside prairies, spectacular vistas, secluded cove beaches, rugged cliffs, and forested sea stacks in Brookings, OR.. The Corridor features a somewhat easy, twelve-mile trail that takes about seven hours to complete with Fido. Pets must be leashed during their visit. Dog owners can start out from the trailhead at the north end of the picnic area and head down the paved path past the pit toilets. Those wanting to continue their trek should ignore the trail that goes left to the beach and keep going straight through a bit of brush before opening up to a nice trail on the other side. Amazing hikes and views of the coastline!

This place is absolutely amazing! There are several places to turn off the main highway with lots of hiking trails with views of the rugged coastline and hikes on the beach. There are so many different trails for all hiking levels and I would highly recommend this place! It definely exceeded my expectations! Dogs are welcomed as long as they are on a leash.
