A lovely dog park with lots of beautiful adjoining trails that are very hilly, which is not typical of Florida. The dog park is for all sizes, unfortunately, with no separate area for small dogs, which is just a recipe for disaster.

There's always so many dogs there, all friendly and she gets all of her energy out every time

We recently visited Tallahassee with our 6 month old puppy. We were lucky to find a decent park near the hotel. The park itself is very pretty but the dog park is how we now define all experiences. And this park is generally pleasant. The best part is that it's super shady. I don't mind the single space thing or that it's messy. My pup had never left a dog park without needing a bath. But my major fyi is that there are A LOT of holes in the dog park area. Otherwise, I love it.

My pitbull/ Mastiff mix loved it plenty of dogs to socialize with!! water bowl is out there for the dogs, and there are picnic tables for the owners to sit! a little muddy so might wanna wear old clothes just in case your dog pulls you in while its still on the leash like my dog did lol!! Oh and your dog will most likely need a bath after leaving herez!

So my 8 month puppy, Maxie, really did enjoy this dog park and not to mention the area is really nice. The only bad thing I can say about it is that the area is basically mulch and dirt so when we got home, his eyes were a little bit irritated for the next few days (I think something must have gotten into his eyes). The other thing is, the water "center?" is only a basic water fountain that you have to manually push until it fills the one bowl for the dogs which takes forever and a day. All in all, this dog park has the basic necessities for the dogs to play in. Be careful when it gets warmer because they do have quite a bit of mosquitoes and I would definitely recommend putting on bug spray if you don't want to get eaten up.
