My dog loves the ability to do long walks off leash. He can run ahead to sniff stuff or more than likely lag behind sniffing then get a good run to catch up. His favourite park for sure.

This dog park is fantastic! Not only are there sweet, gentle dogs of all sizes that happily played with my *gasp* pitbull - but the people there loved him (because my rescue pitty still loves people, even though he came from an awful situation...remember Tom, there are no bad dogs, just bad owners).

I have been to many dog parks in Canada and the U.S. and so far this one has been the very best. You can actually go for a decent walk rather than just walk in circles! My dog loved swimming in the river and running the paved paths. It's so sad we don't live here anymore!

The indecent fighting dog crew are trying to take over the park by playing the victims and falsely accusing the gentle dogs that have been there for years. Watch your backs, you too could be setup and falsely accused. It's nether friendly or safe for the average dog. I'd stay away. The lunatics have take over the asylum..

I brought my dog here at least 6 days a week when I lived in Red Deer. There are several kilometers of paved trails along the river, dirt and gravel paths, a sandy dog beach at one of the 3 ponds, lots of single track trails through the wooded areas, and a super nice river rock dog beach along the river. The water "jump" thing is over a pond and used in the summer by the Red Deer ski jump club to practice ski jumping. The people are great and the dogs almost always get along. It's fun every season.

A great place for you dogs to run around off leash. Both of my dogs love the access to the river as well as running along the paved path. This park is a treat for both the dogs and owners.
