Walking thru the forest to get to the beach is a treat in itself! Not too many dogs at this little hidden gem. but the ones who were there, were well behaved! Tip: walk over to the left around the the cliff for more sandy beach.

Took our puppy to visit this beach. After a two mile drive down a bumpy one lane road, you arrive to the cove. It’s beautiful but the wind makes it impossible to enjoy. It blows the sand at you so hard it hurts. Our dog had a face full of sand and couldn’t walk because of how much it hurt his eyes. We had to cover his face with a hat until the wind stopped and then run to the car.

This beach is technically not a DOG beach. Dogs are allowed. It does have high traffic of tourists and I'm sure if you're dog is running through their photos or picnics, they will get frustrated. BUT if you have a controlled off leash pup this place is wonderful. We threw her frisbee for at least an hour and while she ran up and down the beach. This place does tend to be a little windier. Very beautiful location and one of the best beach experiences you could have.....if your dog is controlled. If not I would suggest staying ON-LEASH to accommodate the large amounts of tourists. But if they are voice controlled you'll have a blast.
