This is a great park, depending which dogs are visiting. There are too many aggressive breeds with owners who do not know how to control their dogs. my puppy golden was attacked and the other dog owner was unable to control his dog. We are just letting lucky that the other dog only grabbed onto my pups harness. He did not break skin. just be aware, it may or may not be a good experience.

I wouldn’t say this is a dog park, but more of an outdoor activity area that is dog friendly.
Sandpoint Park is made up of a variety of walking trails, exercise trails, children’s playgrounds, and gazebos. I believe dogs must remain on a leash unless in the fenced in dog area. I take my dogs walking here all the time and see all types of dogs and people enjoying the outdoor space.
For a fenced in dog area (some may not know) go to the other side of the marina to Marina Park. Marina park has boat slips, a skate park, a BMX bike park, and 2 fenced in dog areas. In the fenced dog areas your dogs can run free. I’ve never used the fenced in areas, but I’ve noticed there’s very little shade in either area. Other than that, they seem like fun for those who use them.

Huge area for both small and big dogs. Come across very friendly owners and doggos. Definitely recommend coming here! Great walking area by water as well for your dog!
- MatthewMore than a year agoLove the park beware of Saturday morning
As with most people when I get up on Saturday I want to take my dog to the park. Unfortunately there is a group of people every Saturday (for months now) that sit in a group, make people feel not welcome, and have 2 VERY aggressive golden retrievers. They have attacked over 20 dogs and they continue to bring them. So beware of Saturday before 10am. Other than that this park is fantastic and has a nice view

Decided to take my little one to the park to tire him out, glad to know there was one here in Titusville and it is off leash. Place was difficult to find for me at least, it isn't where my GPS took it, it is just a little past the Sandpoint Park, take a right afterwards and it says Marina Park. This local told us that he walks along the water to see manatees since they hang out there a lot. Pretty cool!

The location is beautiful! There is ample parking. There is a large and small dog area. Water is available for the pups. The majority of folks do a good job of cleaning up after their pets. There has never been a shortage of doggie bags. The trees are a welcomed addition. Great job Titusville!
- VictoriaMore than a year agoExcellent, could use a little extra shade though
This is a great park, overlooking the lagoon and the harbor full of beautiful sailboats, with a side for small dogs and another for larger. It's on the way into Titusville so I stop by everyday on my way to or from school/work runs. SO glad I found it!

I would love to see more areas for the dogs to exercise in besides just running around. How about a small jump area or teeter area or even an obstical course would be great. Thanks for what you've done.

I used to live in Titusville and have been commuting a couple months there and back to south florida, I cannot express enough gratitude on the decision of opening a leash free DOGPARK......I was the one when I lived there that would bring it to the table to open one locally along with my signed petitions..to your board meetings and was told it was last on the totem pole. YOU DID IT and made many of your citizens very happy for a great cause....Sincerely Cindy DeLeo!!
