Dog Friendly Beaches in Moran, MI

Sand Dunes Beach is a sandy Lake Michigan beach located just off US-2, about 10 minutes from St. Ignace, MI. The beach has shallow water and a sandbar about 100 feet from shore, making it a scenic spot to cool off with your pup. Dogs must remain leashed to protect the natural area and for their safety, as the beach is located down the dunes from the busy highway and lake winds can create large waves. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.
