Pet Friendly Sleeper State Park
Sleeper State Park Sleeper State Park is a recreation area with a dog-friendly beach in Caseville, MI. Leashed dogs are welcome to explore the park as long as they are cleaned up after. Enjoy 723 acres of forest, wetlands, and sandy beaches and dunes on the Saginaw Bay of Lake Huron. Fido can roam the trails of the ancient dune forests or hit the beach on its far west end. The area can be accessed by taking the boardwalk. It runs from the west boundary of the park itself to a mutt mitt dispenser and yellow post on the east boundary of the beach. Pet Friendly Miners Beach
Miners Beach Miners Beach is a dog-friendly stretch of beach within Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. You can view Bridalveil Falls from the east side of the park. Fido is welcome to enjoy a swim with you, but the area can be rather crowded during the summer. See Details

Esch Road Beach A section of Esch Road Beach in Honor, MI is dog friendly. Located three miles south of Empire, this beach is part of the beautiful Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore at the mouth of Otter Creek. Leashed dogs are permitted to the right of Esch Road (when facing the water), north to the Lakeshore boundary. No pets are allowed to the left on Esch Road. See Details
Grand Haven City Beach Grand Haven City Beach is a pet-friendly destination from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM, from Memorial Day through Labor Day. You can either park at Young State Park and take the trail down to the shoreline or park along the road for Fido to get a quick dip. The shallow beach is great for your furry friend and young kids. Peterson Beach Sleeping Bear Recreation Area From August 16th - April 14th, a section of Peterson Beach Sleeping Bear Recreation Area in Honor, MI is dog friendly. During this time, leashed pets are permitted to the left of the boardwalk (as you approach the beach). Fido is not allowed to the right of the boardwalk. Labeled as one of the most beautiful and secluded beaches of this area, Peterson Beach offers views along Sleeping Bear Point, Empire Bluff, and across to South Manitou Island on a clear day. Parking is limited, but spaces may be available along the gravel on Peterson Road. Please note, due to efforts to protect an endangered species the area is closed between April 15th until August 15th. See Details
