    Owls Head State Park Owls Head State Park is a dog-friendly spot in Owls Head, ME. As one of the smaller recreational areas in Maine, it's home to lots of interesting landmarks, including the main attraction, a stunning lighthouse constructed in 1852. Dogs are not allowed in the lighthouse, but there is green space near the parking lot for them to walk. The rocky beach is also available to dogs and their owners between April 1 and September 30.
