Alewife Brook Reservation is dog-friendly. This urban forest is a natural area that is preserved for people to enjoy and to allow the wildlife to thrive in their natural habitat. Animals who call the park their home include hawks, coyotes beavers, snapping turtles, wild turkeys, and muskrats. You and Fido can explore the park together on one of the trails that goes alongside the brook. Dogs are allowed on a leash under six feet and owners are reminded to clean up any mess that they make. Alewife Brook Reservation is open every day of the week from sunrise to sunset.
