Beatrixpark is a lovely park in the Zuider Amstel neighborhood. While it's not exactly centrally located, the park is less crowded and cleaner than other parks in Amsterdam. It has beautiful gardens and a manicured hedge garden that you'll enjoy, but your dog will be most impressed with the canals. Swimming anyone?

This spacious park from the end of 19th century in East Amsterdam, just located behind the Tropical Museum, exhibits several big, monumental sculptures. There is also a huge grassy field, stretches of shady lawn along the waterfront, a children's wading pool, and paved paths for bikers. Both dog-friendly and dog-free zones are available.

Sarphatipark has a dog-free grassy area, but don't let that stop you from visiting. One of the nicest things about Sarphatipark is its proximity to Albert Cuyp Market, where you can pick up goodies for a picnic with Fido.
