Pet Friendly Run-A-Muk Dog Park
Run-A-Muk Dog Park Park City, UT's Run-A-Muk Dog Park is a great spot for Fido to run, play, and meet other dogs. This popular park includes approximately 2 miles of trail to wander with your dog and 43-acres for off-leash fun. The trail has great views of the surrounding hills and ski jumps at the Utah Olympic Park. See Details
Pet Friendly Richfield Visitor Center
Richfield Visitor Center The Visitor Center is a great dog-friendly stop when arriving at, or passing through, the town of Richfield, UT. Conveniently located close to Highway 89, this area is an ideal open space for Fido. Dogs can be walked on a leash on the grass or join you beside one of the outside benches. Dogs must remain outdoors but the Visitors Center sells maps of the local area which can be purchased inside. See Details
Zion National Park Leashed dogs are allowed in certain areas of Zion National Park in Springdale, UT. Dogs are allowed on the Pa'rus Trail, on public roads and parking areas, in developed campgrounds, picnic areas, and on the grounds of Zion Lodge. All other trails, wilderness areas, shuttle buses, and public buildings are closed to pets. Properly-restrained pets may be left unattended in developed campgrounds only when environmental conditions are safe for the animal, and the animal is quiet. Dog owners must clean up after their pets and dispose of waste in trash receptacles. See Details

The Wave A trip to the Wave-Coyote Buttes is an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime outdoor adventure you can share with Fido in Kanab, UT. You can only hike at The Wave if you have a permit, and only 20 people per day receive permits. Due to the popularity of permit requests, a lottery system as been instituted. 10 permits are issued 4 months in advance via the online lottery and 10 permits are issued at the walk-in lottery for next-day use. Permits are also required for any dog accompanying you, although canine permits do not count toward the 20 permits per day limit. To register for the online permit lottery, visit the website. Hurricane Dog Park Hurricane Dog Park is found west of Stout Park in Hurricane, UT. This natural habitat park has two separate areas for active or passive dogs. The area includes designated parking, pavilions, benches, water access, and waste stations. See Details
Red Hills Desert Garden Red Hills Desert Garden is pet-friendly. This desert conservation garden is nestled in the red rocks with easy trails and picnic area. Wander around the 5-acre preserve that is home to more than 5,000 desert plants, a stream, replica slot canyon & dinosaur tracks. The botanical garden has plenty of trashcans for you to preserve the cleanliness of the park. There's a fish viewing area that's delightfully cool for dogs who need a break from the sun. On the 12-mile Auto Tour, view a great diversity of birds without ever leaving your vehicle. Want to stretch your legs? Adams Canyon Trail Leashed pets can join their owners along the dog-friendly Adams Canyon Trail at Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Layton, UT. This out-and-back path is about 3.5 miles long and rated challenging in difficulty. Hikers will experience an elevation gain of a little over 1,000' while they hike to a 40' waterfall at the trail's end. Visitors can also access the Bonneville Shoreline Trail and Great Western Trail from this path. See Details
Antelope Island State Park Antelope Island State Park is pet-friendly. Bring your leashed pooch along to explore multiple hiking trails that vary in difficulty and terrain. Keep your eyes peeled for the herd of wild bison on the island while you make your way around the trails. While you're there, admire the views of Great Salt Lake and stunning surrounding mountain views. Dog owners must clean up any mess that is left behind. Entrance into the park is $15 per vehicle. Jordan River Parkway Leashed dogs are welcome on the Jordan River Parkway in Salt Lake City, UT. The 45-mile trail spans through three different counties and the portion in Salt Lake City is dog friendly. Waste bags can be found at stations along the path. Located close to Bryce Canyon National Park, the park is home to beautiful scenery and it's a great place to take dogs. Full of trails that lead to stunning views, this one is a great alternative to the more well known Bryce Canyon. Leashed dogs are welcome, as long as they are cleaned up after. See Details
Capitol Reef National Park Pets are allowed on leash (6 feet or 1.8 meters or shorter) in the developed areas of the park including: -on the trail from the visitor center to the Fruita Campground -on the Fremont River Trail from the campground to the south end of Hattie's Field (where there is a gate) -in unfenced and/or unlocked orchards -in the Chesnut and Doc Inglesby picnic areas -in campgrounds -within 50 feet of centerline of roads (paved and dirt) open to public vehicle travel parking areas open to public vehicle travel

Pets are not permitted on other hiking trails, in public buildings, or in the backcountry. The entrance fee is $20 per vehicle for Capitol Reef National Park is paid into a self-serve tube at the beginning of the Scenic Drive, just past the campground. The cost includes all in a private vehicle. Capitol Reef is a 24-hour park, open all day, every day.

Marj Bonner Dog Park at George Barker River Park Marj Bonner Dog Park at George Barker River Park is an off-leash area in Springdale, UT. Visitors to the park will find several trails, benches, barbecue grills, restrooms, and access to the Virgin River. A footbridge leads to Marj Bonner Dog Park, a native area east of the Virgin River and a designated off-leash space for Fido. Owners should be aware that Marj Bonner Dog Park at George Barker River Park is not a fenced area and Fido must be under voice control. South Ogden Dog Park South Ogden Dog Park can be found on the south side of Club Heights Park in Ogden, UT. It has two acres of off leash space for dogs to play. The space is fenced and covered with mulch and grass. Amenities include double-gated entry, benches, water access, and waste stations.
