Cedarville State Forest Dogs are welcome to join their owners at Cedarville State Forest, previously the winter camping ground of the Piscataway Indian Tribe, in Brandywine, MD. The headwaters of the Zekiah Swamp are located in the park, and there are a number of surrounding fields and over 19 miles of trails that can be explored by dogs and their owners. Rosaryville State Park Rosaryville State Park is a dog-friendly day-use park spanning 982 acres in Upper Marlboro, MD. The centerpiece of the park is the historic Mount Airy Mansion, which is the only area of the park that isn't pet friendly. There are numerous trails that are accessible to dogs and their owners, including some that are paved. Dogs are welcome on a leash as long as all mess is cleaned up after them. This property is located near the Naval Academy and along an active shooting range, so be sure to be alert on your walk! The park is closed during active training so check the social media pages for the Naval Academy before planning your trip. The 3-mile walking path is flat and a mixture of sand and stone.
