Pet Friendly Grandview Park Trail
Grandview Park Trail Featuring outstanding views, a small network of trails, and a dune plant community, pet-friendly Grandview Park Trail is a favorite with locals and visitors alike. Located in the Sunset District of San Francisco, the majority of the climb is made up of wooden stairs while the short trail around the top of the hill consists of soft soil. The dune community is extremely fragile, so please stay on the path at all times. Dogs must be leashed on the trail. See Details

Hayward Regional Shoreline Hayward Regional Shoreline in Hayward, CA is dog friendly and allows leashed pets in designated areas. This spacious wetlands park boasts gravel shoreline trails and is a popular spot for birdwatching and jogging. Visitors who bring Fido should watch for signs with park rules pertaining to pets. Crocker Park Recreational Trail The Crocker Park Recreational Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Brisbane! The map below shows a trailhead where you can pick up the Crocker Park Recreational Trail. Stevens Creek County Park Stevens Creek County Park is a dog-friendly recreation area in Cupertino, CA. Leashed dogs are welcome to join you for a hike across nine miles of multi-use trails, many of which connect to Mid-Peninsula Open Space Fremont Older Preserve. Big Basin Redwoods State Park Big Basin Redwoods State Park is California's oldest state park and is home to the largest span of old-growth Redwoods south of San Francisco. Leashed dogs are allowed in the campsites, picnic areas, and on paved roads. They must be on a leash and attended at all times. Dogs are also allowed on North Escape, a 2.5-mile one-way (5-mile round trip) paved road that is mostly gated off to cars and alongside old-growth redwoods, a creek, and lush undergrowth. Dog owners can check out Big Basin's official website for information on day-use and camping fees. Dogs are not permitted on any of the trails or fire roads excluding the campground connector trail from Sempervirens and Blooms Creek campgrounds to park headquarters. Mount Sutro Open Space Reserve Leashed dogs are welcome to enjoy the more than five miles of trails at pet-friendly Mount Sutro Open Space Reserve, adjacent to UCSF's Parnassus campus in San Francisco, CA. The reserve is home to a forest more than 100 years old along with many varieties of birds and other wildlife.
