The spring-fed lake with two miles of shoreline is the main attraction at this park, and it can be enjoyed from the Lakeside Self-Guiding Interpretive Trail that circles the banks of the lake. There are a number of other trails that weave around the woods that surround the water for you and Fido to explore. You can also visit the Veteran's Point Memorial located in the park.

Leashed dogs are welcome at Clinton Lake State Recreation Area in Dewitt, IL. This pet-friendly 9,300-acre space is home to the cooling lake for the Exelon Power Station, the Clinton Lake. Boating and fishing are very popular here. You and Fido can explore the more than 5 miles of hiking trails throughout the area as well. Please note that pets are not permitted on the beach.
