Pet Friendly Barnett Ranch Preserve
Barnett Ranch Preserve Barnett Ranch Preserve is a dog-friendly, 728-acre reserve in Ramona, CA. There are 4 miles of multi-use trails including a 2.5-mile loop for walking, running, biking and horseback-riding. Be prepared to bring lots of water as there is no water source. Be on the lookout for wildlife including coyotes and the possibility of mountain lions. There are no trash cans on the hiking trails, so you'll need to pack out any trash as you exit. Rice Canyon Demonstration Gardens Fido is welcome to accompany you on a visit to dog-friendly Rice Canyon Demonstration Gardens, located in Chula Visa, CA. Located at the mouth of Rice Canyon Preserve, walk through this beautiful area and admire colorful unique plants, cacti and a succulent garden. There are short trails and seating to enjoy a picnic. Fido should be leashed to preserve plant life and landscaping but owners should also be mindful of snakes in this area. See Details
Annie's Canyon Trail Annie's Canyon Trail is a dog-friendly trail located on the San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve in Solana Beach, CA. The trail is a moderate-to-strenuous one-mile loop. Dogs are welcome on the trail if they are cleaned up after and on a leash no longer than six feet. It is recommended that pets do not go on the strenuous part of the trail.
