Silver Star Provincial Park
Silver Star Provincial Park in Vernon, BC, offers a section of trails between Sovereign (on the same road) and SilverStar Resort, with two parking lots where snowshoeing is free and dogs are allowed on snowshoeing trails with a leash. While Sovereign Lake has XC dog-friendly trails, snowshoeing with pups here is a no go. Pets to be kept on a leash no longer than 6.5' oat all times, and are not permitted in beach areas or park buildings, unless the area is designated “Pets Permitted” sign.
