Dogs are allowed at Farmington Canal State Park Trail. This historic byway encompasses 5.5 miles of paved pathway to allow bikers and walkers alike to enjoy the scenic route. The route runs alongside a canal that used to be one of the main ways of bringing goods to the area, until the railroad was built and took over. The park is open from dawn until dusk.
