West Ashley Greenway The West Ashley Greenway is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Lake Conestee Nature Preserve The dog-friendly Lake Conestee Nature Preserve consists of approximately 400 acres of beautiful natural habitat on the Reedy River just 6 miles south of downtown Greenville, SC. The park contains both hardwood and evergreen forest, extensive wetlands, 3 miles of the Reedy River, and a rich diversity of wildlife habitat. Deer, raccoon, beaver, fox, river otter, and various small mammals inhabit the park, along with numerous species of reptiles and amphibians. Over 170 bird species have been reported by the Greenville County Bird Club. Dogs are allowed on trails throughout the park. See Details
Audubon Newhall Preserve The pet-friendly Audubon Newhall Preserve in Hilton Head Island, SC is a 50-acre tract of land with trails and a pond supporting alligators. Leashed dogs are allowed. During the spring and fall, interpretive walks are offered for a fee. See Details

Stono River County Park Stono River County Park in Johns Island, SC, is pet friendly. Located at the foot of the Limehouse Bridge, this recreation area offers river views from 1.5 miles of wooded trails and marsh boardwalks for walkers, runners and cyclists. The park spans 85.5 acres, which includes highland, marsh island and 48 acres of marsh adjoining the Stono River. Leashed dogs are welcome on the trails as long as they are cleaned up after. Landsford Canal State Park Landsford Canal State Park in Catawba, SC is pet friendly! Andrew Jackson State Park Andrew Jackson State Park in Lancaster, SC is pet friendly. This 360-acre park was established to honor the seventh President of the United States, Andrew Jackson.
