Please note that dog owners aren't permitted in the water. Dogs 40 pounds and under may swim from 4:30 to 5:45 PM and dogs over 40 pounds may swim from 6 to 7:15 PM.

Doggy Dip at Rolling Hills Water Park

Bring Fido for a dip in the pool before summer comes to an end! Entry times will be based on your pup's size with dogs under 40 lbs welcome from 10 AM until 11 AM or from 12:30 PM until 2:45 PM. Larger dogs over 60 lbs can swim from 11:15 AM until 12:15 PM, or from 12:30 PM until 2:45 PM. Only the dogs will be allowed in the pool, but owners may wade up to their ankles. An adult (18 years of age or above) must accompany their dogs at all times, and there's a limit of two dogs per adult. Registration begins August 1st and is required.

Humans won't be permitted to swim during this event (only ankle deep). Registration is divided by dog weight with pups under 30 lbs at 10 AM, pups 31 to 65 lbs at 11 AM, and pups 66 lbs or more at 12 PM. If your dog’s weight is on the cusp of a time slot, select the range you're comfortable with.

Cleveland Oktoberfest Wiener Dog Races

The Cleveland Oktoberfest hosts Wiener Dog Races as part of the festival! The event will include heats for adult Dachshunds (1-8 years old) as well as for puppies (8 weeks to 1 year) and seniors (8 years and older). The adults run 40 feet, while puppies and seniors run 25 feet (though a few just run back to their owners). Four dogs will race in each heat. Races will be held Sat, Sept 5th – Mon, Sept 7th, and Sat, Sept 12th, with a costume contest at 3 PM each day.

Bring Fido out for a game of ball at this Bark in the Park-style event! The Mud Hens will take the field as the ‘Mud Hounds' for this series of dog-friendly games. There will be designated seating for you to watch the game (Sections 120 and 121) as well as special water stations, mini-pools, and designated restroom areas. Fans with their dogs will enter Fifth Third Field through the Center Field Gate on St. Clair Street. Be sure your pup is on a six ft. (or less) leash and well-mannered.

Taking place under tents along South Main Street, leashed dogs are welcome at this annual event where guests can sample 150+ wines from local, national and international producers as well as select craft beers and spirits. Bring Fido out to the ballgame! A portion of the proceeds from dog tickets will go to the Michigan Humane Society. Maximum of one dog per paid adult ticket. All dogs must wear an identification tag to the game and be accompanied by someone 18 years of age or older. No day-of-game sales. All participants must provide a copy of all up-to-date dog vaccinations upon check in (Rabies and DDHPP required). 2026 dates include April 21, May 5, August 25, and September 8 & 21.
