Canine To Five Pack Walk
Take a guided walk with your pup along the Detroit Riverfront. Pack walks will start and end at Valade Park and include a ten minute break at the halfway point. Celebrate the holiday with Fido dressed in red, white and blue. The parade begins on South Ferry Street and will travel north to Loomis, east on Loomis to William, south on William to Waterfront Park. Children are welcome to decorate their wagons or bikes, and dress the family pet up in patriotic gear. Categories are Patriotism, Originality, Creative Use of Pets, and Themed Group. Prizes will be awarded to the winner of each. The first 250 participants will receive a goody bag. Parade lineup begins at 5:00 PM.
