CARE Dog Wash
Treat your four-legged companions to a spa day during this annual fundraising event for Coastal Animal Rescue Effort! Services offered will be a bath, brush, nail trim and anal gland expression at different costs. Fido will get a quick dry at the end but may leave slightly damp.

Bark in the Park with the Greensboro Grasshoppers
Take Fido out to a ballgame! Pooch pass proceeds will be donated to the Babe and Yogi Scholarship. All dogs must be leashed and licensed, and are not permitted on the concourse at any time. All participants must enter through the Edgeworth gate and have tickets for the Sunbrella Hill grass berm in left field. Blankets are strongly recommended, as lawn chairs are not permitted. Dogs must be leashed at all times. 2024 Bark in the Park dates include: June 5th, July 9th and July 28th.

Bark & Bolt
The 5K course is a scenic, out and back route that follows the Oklawaha Greenway. There are some moderate hills but the majority of the course is flat. The 1-mile race also follows the Greenway and has one hill just before the finish. Both courses will have a single water station along the route. The Paw Pursuit 100 Meter Dash is the shortest race with a quick sprint where dogs run alongside their owners to demonstrate their speed and agility. Dogs will be divided into three weight classes: Lightweight, Middleweight, and Heavyweight.

Annual Rogallo Kite Festival
Bring Fido along to celebrate Francis Rogallo and his many accomplishments. Kitty Hawk Kites and friends will display 30-100 ft kites, where you can join them, take lessons or sit back and watch. Traditionally, this weekend is supposed to be extremely hot and sunny. While this makes for perfect flying conditions, bringing plenty of water and sunscreen is essential. If you plan to bring a pet, ensure you have the necessary provisions to keep them comfortable.

Fido is welcome to partake in the Doggie Dash 5K and Doggie Dash 6.5 Mile race in support of Second Chance Pet Adoptions. Pups & Pastries gives you an opportunity to partake in a fun-run with your canine companion to combat animal homelessness. The $10 fee for Fido goes to support Second Chance Pet Adoptions!
