Elmwood Park Zoo Yappy Hour Bring Fido to these special days and events where dogs are allowed to go on their very own zoo excursion! Dog admission is limited and rules are in place to help ensure the comfort and safety of you, your dog, other guests, and the zoo’s animals. All guests visiting the zoo with a dog must complete an online application and submit required documents before purchasing their tickets. Haunted Downtown York Springtime Walking Tours Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to join their owners for an evening of learning about York's spooky past and present by storyteller and historian Rissa Miller. Note that this is a walking tour, so guests should dress appropriately. See Details
Pup Night at PNC Park with the Pittsburgh Pirates Bring Fido out to the ball game! This fun event will happen throughout the season, allowing your canine friend to tag along for a baseball game. Tickets for you and your dog are located on the rooftop. On April 23 and September 24, they'll have a pet parade before the game. See Details
Bow Wow Express Are you looking for a different way to see Kempton with your pup? Sign up for a train ride with your furry friend! The train departs by the hour, and all dogs will receive a complimentary biscuit and a free hot dog with each pup ticket purchase. Philly Area Corgi Picnic Bring your Corgi out for a picnic at the park! Registration is required. Proceeds benefit CorgiAid, which provides grants for Pembroke, Cardigan and mixed corgis in rescues or shelters that require medical care in order to find their forever homes. Dog Days of Summer Bring Fido to this fun-filled event featuring vendors, live entertainment, K9 demonstrations, raffle baskets, and a Yappy Hour showcasing local breweries. Proceeds support the police K9 unit and foster a stronger sense of community for the beautiful park system. Your furry friend must remain on a leash, and be up to date on vaccinations. Reading Liederkranz Wurstfest Wurstfest is an annual food celebration that honors German culture, especially its love for sausages, or "wurst". Bring your leashed pup along as you try a vast selection of sausages from classic bratwurst to more exotic varieties, all accompanied by hearty servings of sauerkraut, pretzels and strudels! You’ll enjoy the largest array of bratwursts and German foods in Berks County. If you’re not a fan of German food, don’t worry. They'll have something for everyone.
