Are dogs allowed on the shuttles?

We are coming to CB for a week of hiking and sightseeing the area the first week of September. We are staying with our dog at a place in Mt. CB. Will the shuttles to town allow us to take our dog on board. We have a very well-behaved Golden Retriever who loves to hike. We will have a car, but I'd like to make use of the public transportation, if possible.
