Dog license in McAllen TX

Hello everyone,

I will be traveling from SC to McAllen TX and have found they have a dog license requirement...something we do not have where I live.

Could you tell me:
1. Do I need a dog license when traveling in McAllen TX?
2. Is there a reasonable way to obtain one online?

Traveling to Mcallen

Hi, I actually live about 5 miles away from McAllen, TX. Here is a document from the Texas Animal Health Commission in regards to bringing pets into Texas from another State.
