  Decent place

  The employees had no interaction with my dog. The room had nothing for the dog. As a place to stay, they did give us a room on the bottom floor as requested. The motel is in an area that sees bears frequently, so taking the dog out in the middle of the night was a little bit of an adventure. But everything worked and it was clean. For the area, the price was good. Not a bad place.

  Disgusting

  Our room was disgusting. It smelled like someone had been living in the room and was a heavy smoker. I asked if we could get a non smoking room but was told it was a non smoking room. I tried to open the window to air the room out but the window did not have a screen on it so bugs started coming in. There were burn marks on the bathtub and toilet so someone obviously was smoking in there. No towels in the room, not that I was going to take a shower there but would like to at least wash my face. I do not know about the other rooms, but do not stay in room 118 if you do stay here. Sad because it does have a nice bike trail and is a good location just could not get over how gross the inside was.

  Not bad, not good

  Rooms are small and simple. Tile floor was showing wear and age. Shower needed a good cleaning. Price came out to be $150 per night even though most rooms were vacant.

  Very nice front desk staff but rooms were incredibly small and there was no housekeeping service.

  Dated with few ammenities

  The facility needs remodeling, there are very few amenities, but I slept well. Definitely an aging low 2 star property , but I'd stay there again if there was a big price difference with nearby hotels.

  Good location, good place to bring dogs with a designated pet area with poop bags and trash can. Room was dingy but decent enough.

  Dog Tolerant, Not Dog Friendly

  The pros:
  1. Dogs allowed in some rooms
  2. Reasonably priced
  3. Conveniently located
  4. Clean

  The cons:
  1. Rooms have no coffee makers, microwaves, or refrigerators.
  2. I reserved and paid for a queen room, but was given a room with only a full-size bed.
  3. Our room was on the second floor. The stairs are metal grates with spikes on top. I am sure this is to avoid snow and ice buildup in the winter, but the spikes can shred dogs’ paws. I had to carry my dog up and down the stairs multiple times each day.
  4. The Wi-Fi is terrible.
  5. Most of the TV channels do not work.
  6. They are currently having an issue finding good housekeeping help. The boys who were doing the cleaning left bags of laundry all over the motel. They smoked in the hallways, and were seen sleeping by the pool.
  7. Room key cards reset automatically each day instead of when you check out, so we had to get new cards every day in order to get back in our room.

  Good for pets

  The floors are all wood and no carpet so easy cleanup, good walking trial behind hotel. Easy to manage and didn’t hear any other dogs though they were there.

  Great Stay!

  This is a nice Motel 6. We had a great time. Lots of grassy areas for pets to do what they need to and it backs right up to a pedestrian/bike trail. Only issue is the stairs, they are open metal steps that our dog had a hard time with. But she made it, just took her time. Lots of first floor rooms as well. This is one of the bigger motels I’ve seen from this chain. Highly recommend it!

  Check your room first ours was gross.

  This was the dirtiest room I've seen. The floors, light switches and bathroom fan were all disgusting. These are all things very easy to fix but have been ignored for a long time. This was supposed to be a non-smoking room but stunk like cigarettes. I'm tired of the dog rooms being gross. What's dog "friendly" about that? Would give zero bones if I could.
