Because we have a dog with us we stayed at the Motel 6. What a mistake. The room smelled stale. Towels were thin and there were no amenities. The allowed smoking area was outside the non-smoking rooms. The “low light” was the other guest who began yelling at 3am and continued until 11pm. The police were called but other than banging on the door and telling him he needed to be quiet, nothing happened. The walls are so thin that conversations/music could be overheard. Why no one asked this person to leave earlier is beyond me? Sorry I booked two nights.

The staff is always so friendly and so nice going out of their way to help you finding the perfect room for your dog. We had easy outside access to let him out in the morning. It is just the one of the best pet- friendly hotels in the state.

I was lucky enough to throw my crate in the car before leaving. I almost didn't. When I arrived at the hotel, the lady asked me if I had a crate. Thinking she meant if I was leaving my dog in the room unattended. It was late and I said no. She said well then you can't stay here. You must have a crate. I then said, I do have a crate in the car. She said, but you just said you don't have a crate. I had to go out to the car and bring in my crate to show her. They did give me a room close to the side entrance, which was super convenient. But I think how close I came to being stuck without a place to stay if I hadn't thrown my crate in the car that morning. There is nothing on their website stating you need a crate.

I have two dogs and there was nothing that stated I couldn’t stay in the hotel without a crate. So when I get there that’s what front desk woman tells me then lies and says it’s noted on the website, then recanted and said it was but not in those words. They had the right to make their own rules and if I didn't like it, I didn't have to stay there. She was very rude did t like me asking questions and catching her in a lie. I’ll never stay at Motel 6 ever again.

If you have a dog and traveling to or threw Greensboro NC, this is the place. Great staff, great rooms, lots of area to walk your dog. And don't forget to ALWAYS book your dog friendly hotel at this site.

Clean hotel and areas to walk dog. Pet friendly but you will be asked if you have a carrier. New to traveling with pet and used to staying in higher quality hotels, but for the price, our expectations were exceeded. We have a medium to large mixed breed and he was happy with his stay.

I have mixed feelings about this place. On the plus side, they had lots of area to potty the dogs, the room had a fridge, freezer, microwave, kitchen type sink and cabinet and a table Everything was clean. It was convenient to stores and restaurants. BUT it was very noisy ( I was on the ground floor and could hear every step the people upstairs took, as well as noise from the hallway). I was there for 3 nights and the room never got cleaned. They didn't even take the trash out. The main hallway smelled like smoke, the front desk rarely had someone at it because the people were all hanging out in the parking lot. In general, it sort of had a sketchy feel to it.
