  This place was terrible! The room had an air conditioner that did not function so it was hot and stuffy. Windows had no screens so we couldn’t leave it open without getting bugs. The room reeked of stale smoke mixed with a deodorizer which made it smell worse. The floors were dirty and surfaces sticky. Trash cans outside were overflowing. The grounds around the perimeter were messy. This place is also used as a residence for many people. I couldn’t leave fast enough. I will never stay there again.

  No lights in room no smoke detector. Place looked like a homeless encampment. I got a refund and went elsewhere.

  Convenient Location

  Cheap! Inexpensive and really get what you pay for. It was dirty, even though remodeled room - bed was ok and temp was ok, but towels were brownish and when I went to trade them in, I got less brownish. The bedding was brand new as were the pillows. I believe it’s under new management, but I don’t think I would stay here again.

  Nice Staff, Motel Needs Work

  First I would like to thank the staff for working so hard to make things right. You were AMAZING! This motel is undergoing a lot of renovation. There are very few usable rooms, and the first room we got didn't have the reserved microwave/fridge we had requested, and it also smelled like smoke. There were no light fixtures in the room other than in the bathroom. The staff was incredible, and moved us to a much better room with a fridge and microwave. Unfortunately, again other than bathroom lights, and lights in the "kitchen", there were no lights in the room other than what was provided by the glow of the TV. Since we are only passing through, and I know how hard they worked to get us this room, we made it work.
  Wanted to share this as after a long day of driving, with tired dogs, it's an added thing to contend with. You may want to call ahead and check that you will get what you expect before you arrive.

  Awful

  Pros: friendly front desk staff and quiet location for being so close to I-80. But the cons far outweighed the pros. Dirty rooms; the first room we were offered hadn’t been cleaned at all, and the second one had been “cleaned” very poorly. Multiple maintenance problems, including electrical problems in the room and a deadbolt that did not work. Sketchy and weird people staying there like the tweaker in the room next door and the guy who yelled at our dogs every time he saw them. My husband said he’d rather sleep on a bench in the local park.

  Surprising?

  I was pleasantly surprised with the condition and cleanliness of the room. Staff was efficient and friendly. Not a posh room but certainly nice for the price except NO air conditioning, windows have no screens and the room was stuffy and HOT. They said it was technically still winter in NV so the heat was on, they tried to switch to air conditioning, no luck, couldn't have slept with it anyway, the fan was so loud. That's my only complaint, too hot in room.

  Okay for one night

  This place is long in the tooth, however the sheets were clean and they let us stay with three large dogs. If your just stopping for the night then this place works.

  Great

  For the price you can't beat this hotel. Stayed here on a drive across the country with my dog and cat. The room was clean and recently remodeled. The bed was comfortable and had a working TV; couldn't ask for more in a room needed just for sleep. Honestly met my expectations (and higher) for a $30/night motel. Would easily stay here again and would recommend.

  Clean but Needs Work

  We stayed here for one night on our way to Madison, Wisconsin traveling from California with our two chihuahuas.

  The room and beds we're clean but bedspread was tattered and the bathroom sink was pretty worn as was the carpeting. Outside the room someone had evidently dropped garbage and it had not been cleaned up. That being said, for the price, with no additional pet fee it was a good value and would stay again.

  This one has seen better days....

  Though the carpet was new and the bed was comfy, all the fixtures were ancient--the tv was the kind with the huge back. The shower was so old and dirty-looking I didn't use it. Otherwise the place was clean, so I think the issue was that it was so old you couldn't get it to look clean if you tried. Poorly-patched water damage in the ceiling. But, for under $50, including taxes, and since they would accept 2 dogs, I'd stay here again if I needed to.
