      Save your money

      The staff was rude. The AC didn't work. It was so hot you couldn't sleep. Finally in an effort to get a little rest, I went out and slept in my car. They rent to some unsavory characters, they advertise one price but charge you much more. The towels are dirty and dingy. The bedspreads have burn holes in them. The floor has soft spots that you might fall through. No smoke detector in the room. I thought it was a law that you had to have a working smoke detector. The bathroom door had obviously been kicked in more than once. It no longer shut properly. The room was dirty. All in all not worth it at any price. Horrible experience.

      Convenient

      The good: We needed a large dog-friendly hotel as a way stop on a long drive and this satisfied that need. It had beds, working ac, a toilet, a fridge, a microwave, and a shower. Nothing was unsanitary. The not great: It smelled musty. Outside of superficial upgrades it looked dingy. If I were the kind of person who expected a certain quality mattress and pillow from a hotel I would have been disappointed, but this being a Motel 6 it was what I expected. The neutral: Again, it's a Motel 6 off the interstate. Temper your expectations. It's lanai style, with doors that lead directly outside, so if that bothers you, now you know.
