The Homestead is a great, dog-friendly B&B! I highly recommend The Cottage, which has its own private fenced yard for your pooch and a lovely patio sitting area for the humans. The breakfast was very good and the innkeepers friendly and helpful without being intrusive.

Your home away from home. The location is great, although keep in mind it is on a high traffic road if you are visiting during peak beach season. we never had any issues with other dogs staying at the B&B. The breakfasts were amazing, the owners are super welcoming and helpful. the pool area was clean and well kept. overall and awesome stay and we will definitely be returning. We did bring our dog’s crate with us so we could leave the property for dinner. Our dog is 75 pounds. Our room fit us well with the crate. We stayed in the sunflower room.

Homestead is the most thoughtfully designed dog friendly B and B I have ever been in. There is a large play area for dogs, dog sheets and dog towels with your room, and an outdoors dog wash station that is perfect for after a day at the beach. Humans are well treated too, with beautiful rooms, homemade breakfast, and a warm and friendly welcome from the owners. Highly recommended!

Definitely a pet-friendly place! I really appreciated the large, fenced-in pet area on the property, which made it easier to have a place to take our dog out when we were in our room. We appreciated the dog sheet and towel available for the furniture. There are also a lot of pet supplies for borrowing to use during the stay (should you need them), including bowls, leashes, and more. The breakfast each morning is delicious, and the property is well-maintained. Definitely recommend to people bringing dog(s) along for a B&B stay and/or visit to the Rehoboth Beach area.

This place is amazing. It's very clean and the owners are extremely welcoming. It's set up for dogs. The food is fabulous. Best breakfast ever in a bed and breakfast! Really a good place to bring your puppy and yourselves.

Best pet and people stay ever! Very clean inside and out. Very warm and welcoming. Max always has a hard time eating, sleeping and doing his business the first few days we're away. Not here! He was so relaxed and at home the moment we arrived. The best breakfasts ever at a B&B to date. Great location if you're not looking to be right on the water. We liked being central to Cape Henlopen park and bot Rehoboth and Riley beaches. Shopping right up the road. An all around 5 bone experience!

We stayed here for one night on our way back to New York from Virginia-after staying, I know we will be back. The grounds are magnificent-2 acres of grass and flowers. There is a beautiful enclosed doggie exercise area with a wonderful seating area which I wanted to import back to MY yard. Our room was lovely and had it's own entrance to the screened porch which is used for breakfast outside. Our hosts are more than accommodating-if you want to go to the beach, they provide chairs and umbrellas, you are allowed to have your doggie in their breakfast room, and they give great instructions on dog friendly restaurants...cough cough Purple Parrot. And the breakfast....let's just say you might never leave the breakfast room! It only made our trip ending a fantastic one...thanks guys!
