Starting at the rear of the estate you might think you've been transported to the set of Brooke Shield's breakout film “The Blue Lagoon”, but rest assured, this is the real thing.
Here you'll find a private, lush, zen-inspired Lagoon oasis… complete with pool, hot tub, bbq, exotic statues, waterfall, and top-of-the line furniture for lounging. Listen as the 50 year old palms sway in the breeze and the spa waterfall crashes into the hot tub. Close your eyes, and be transported to a place of calm. A place of peace. We could all use a little peace these days.
When you're nice and relaxed, step through the massive full wall sliding door and you're seamlessly transported from serene outdoors to indoor luxury. You'll appreciate that the owners have spared no expense to ensure their guests' comfort.
The modern and open interior of this home has been thoughtfully designed for relaxation and entertainment alike. Whether you want to sit back for a movie night in front of the living room's 60-inch Smart TV, or be outside amidst the tropical surroundings and enjoy the calm tranquility under the stars, this home-away-from-home has it all.
The newly designed and fully equipped kitchen boasts a breakfast bar, high-end appliances, and sprawling granite countertops. All the conveniences of modern living complete the ultimate vacation experience, including high-speed WiFi, USB chargers and outlets, air conditioning and remote controlled ceiling fans throughout.
As an added bonus, there is a separate studio on the premises with a double bed, kitchen, bath and stunning views. It's perfect if two of your guests want a little extra privacy but are still close enough to enjoy time together.

Master Bathroom: As you slide open the frosted glass door an Asian inspired spa unfolds. The first item that catches your eye is the stainless steel Japanese soaking tub, where you can soothe your weary muscles after a long day at the beach or in the city. You will also enjoy the comfort of the heated floors.
Bathroom #2: The moment you enter the modern frosted glass door, you think luxury. A double-headed shower for two finished from floor to ceiling with Carrera marble and a vaulted ceiling skylight with its natural lighting makes this a perfect venue to prepare for the perfect day.
Bathroom 3#: The studio bathroom is completely remodeled with a walk-in shower featuring floor to ceiling porcelain tile. Features custom cabinet with granite countertop.

We provide a full concierge service for all types of activities (private chef, outings, etc.) and provide recommendations for dining, bars, and activities. We pride ourselves in making sure your guests have a 5 star experience.
** THE NEIGHBORHOOD **
If you know San Diego, you know Mission Hills is the best place to be, offering both privacy and proximity to all major attractions and beaches. The home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood so its great for large groups, but NOT GREAT for late night parties (e.g. bachelor parties, etc). We request guests respect the city noise ordinance and head inside by 10:00 p.m.
You can walk to many of San Diego's top attractions, and drive to the rest in just 10-15 minutes. We still recommend renting a car so you can explore all San Diego has to offer.
Within 10-15 minute walk to:

- Little Italy (quaint shopping and dining, just blocks away)
- Mission Hills shopping district
- Banker's Hill (cool restaurants, bars, coffee shops)
- San Diego Harbor

** LOCATION **
Our home is located in the best neighborhood in San Diego, offering great proximity to most attractions and fantastic views. While our properties feature high quality, acoustically rated windows and doors, our central location means you will may occasionally hear the sounds of the city including planes that take off between the hours of 6:30am and 10:00 pm. If you are very sensitive to noise, staying anywhere in the downtown San Diego area may not be the right choice.
** POOL AND SPA **
While the home features a gorgeous outdoor pool and spa, not all guests choose to use it during their stay. For that reason, we don't include pool/spa heating in the nightly price of the rental. You can decide if you want to add pool/spa heating for $79/day or spa only for $49/day to your reservation. The pool is heated to 81 degrees (comfortable for lounging) and spa heated to 101 degrees.
The pool and spa are cleaned and serviced before each stay for your convenience.
** POLICIES **
If QUIET HOURS ARE NOT RESPECTED YOU MAY BE ASKED TO VACATE IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT A REFUND.
Per the San Diego Short Term Rental regulations, both the guest and host may be fined $1000 for noise violations. If going inside after 10pm is going to be problematic for your group, we recommend booking elsewhere, although the entire city is operating under the same guidelines. Living next to a vacation rental can be tough, so help us stay in good graces with them.

**GUEST ACCESS**

** INTERACTION WITH GUESTS **
Owners live very close by, and will treat you like family. We'll do anything and everything it takes to ensure your stay is remembered as one of your best trips ever! We look forward to hosting you!
** CANCELLATION POLICY **
Reservations canceled at least 14 days before the start of the stay will receive 100% refund. Reservations canceled at least 7 days before the start of the stay will receive 50% refund.
