Virginia Creek Settlement
Virginia Creek Settlement allows pets of any size in designated rooms for no additional fee. Dogs, cats, and even exotic pets such as horses and llamas are allowed. Pets must be crated if left in the room unattended. Four-legged guests may join their owners for outside dining. There is a communal water bowl that is sanitized after each use, and bowls are available if requested. A grassy area for pet relief is located on the property. Pets must remained leashed to prevent incidents with the resident cats. For same day arrivals, please call 877‑411‑3436 to confirm availability of a pet-friendly room.

The motel restaurant and campground are the closest accommodations to Bodie Ghost Town State Park about 1 mile north of the 395 turnoff.The Virginia Creek Settlement is nestled in the natural beauty of the eastern slopes of the High Sierra within easy driving distance to Bodie Ghost Town Mono Lake Tioga Pass Yosemite National Park June Lake and Mammoth Lakes. Stop by on your way to Carson City Virginia City Reno and Lake Tahoe. The resort is centrally located to some of the best fishing in the eastern slopes of the High Sierra. Fishing season is the last saturday in April through mid-November. Tent Cabins: Camp in Virginia Creek's old fashioned Camp Town. Relive the gold rush days in our unique units. Each Camp Town unit sleeps 4 people. Bedding and linens are available or you may bring your own. Motel Rooms: Relax and enjoy the log cabin rooms located on the banks of Virginia Creek. Your stay in these beautiful surroundings will be pleasant and comfortable as the property maintains high standards of cleanliness and service for their guests. Great place for a stopover or extended stay. River was rushing during our stay due to unprecedented snowpack in Spring 2023. I’ll bet it’s quite serene most days and years. Nice fun little themed campground with good on-site restaurant that you can order from online.
