This hotel calls itself pet friendly. If by we will allow you in the room and never leave for the beach is pet friendly then I guess that's it. Can't go out to dinner, can't go to the beach during season (as DE and Ocean City do not allow on beach). So basically locked in room for the duration of the stay. Why not just say are not pet friendly and stop accepting pets?

The only thing dog friendly about this place is that dogs are tolerated in the room. You can not leave your dog in your room unattended regardless of the situation. We had to run to gas station, we were gone 5 mins total came back to a note highlighted on the dog that we cannot in big bold letters leave our dog. Dog can’t bark regardless of time of day if your with them or not you. Also can’t bring dog on the beach by the hotel or the boardwalk, mini golf, and most restaurants. You can’t leave them alone so basically ur stuck in ur room also can’t have anywhere around the poo. The poor lady in the room next to us had to sit outside on the steps and watch her kids swim in the pool from a far cuz she couldn’t leave dog alone and dog couldn’t go by pool. Room was clean but not really “dog friendly.“

We stayed for 2 nights and had our 2 dogs with us. The room was large and very clean. Check in and out was a breeze. Both gentlemen at the front desk were pleasant. Fenwick is low key and dog friendly. Fenwick State Park just a mile away allows dogs on a certain part of the beach. We will be back!

It’s not the Ritz, but it was absolutely satisfactory. Very VERY clean. 1 block walk to the beach. Very courteous and friendly staff. Plenty of restaurants. We were only here for an overnight. “Our Harvest” across the street had phenomenal food.
