The place has an old-style decor feel to it, but it's very well maintained. It was very clean & comfortable. The staff was friendly & very accommodating for dogs of any size. Area outside for your pup to do his business is clean & well kept. We would definitely stay again if we're in Elko again.

We stayed here on our way to Utah and the room was very nice. Definitely not a luxury hotel, but a classic Best Western in a no frills, but clean and efficient way. Beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. They don’t do anything to cater to your dog, though, so make sure you’ve got your own bowls and bed. The hotel breakfast was a nice touch and the staff was nice. We knocked a “bone” off because the pet potty area was dead grass and despite having a garbage and poop bag station close by, there was a lot of poop that had not been picked up by owners so you had to watch where you and your dog walked.

Front desk ladies were very nice and friendly. The room was worn out but clean. It had the vibe of neglect from the dying landscaping to the general atmosphere of entropy. I would pass on this place next time.

Check-in after reserving with BringFido was a bit of a mess. We ended up charged again for the room when trying to pay the pet fee. But it was a young, assuming new, employee and they got the manager to help rectify the problem. The hotel was comfy and clean. Overall a good experience

Once we got into the room, the odor was so overpowering we weren't sure we could stay the night. We left as early as we could the next morning and definitely will not be returning to this hotel.

Rooms weren’t ready at 7:30 pm. First room wasn’t cleaned: razor hair in the shower, pee on toilet, popcorn all over. Second room: not vacuumed, hallways not cleaned, there was a lot of damage from other dogs in the room (scratches, parts of the wall/paint on the floor).

Zero bones for room cleanliness. We suspected our bed had bed bugs and floors and linens were stained and possibly dirty. Front desk person was super friendly and gave us another room which had weird grease stained sheets and a soaking wet spot on the floor. Pet area was gross with feces. Only reason I gave 2 bones was for friendly staff and decent pool.

Started the day in snowy Montana and ended at Best Western Elko Inn; both my pup and I were dead tired and all went well! Receptionist is great and took a photo of my pup for the wall of pet visitors. Good area for her to do her duty. Room was clean, and pet fee was worth every penny.

This hotel WELCOMES dogs. The manager has a collage of dog guest photos behind the check in counter. The dog area is nicely kept, clean with green grass, complimentary poop bags. Our room was huge and clean, but unfortunately next to the staircase which was rather noisy. Would definitely stay again.

Room was comfortable but the TV was not working and coffee pot in room was also not workable. Honestly in all hotels I've stayed in during my 5 day journey across the states, every single hotel except Best Western in Joliet IL had something that was missing or didn't work 🙃

We had a really nice stay at the Best Western and they had the best breakfast we’d had at any of our cross country stays. They had fresh blueberry muffins right out of the oven and breakfast sandwiches in addition to other items.

This was our first time staying here vs another similarly priced hotel close by (not available this trip). The room was fine-spacious, clean and well stocked. However, the room was at one end of the long hotel and the two card readers for access other than the front door were not working; the person at check-in suggested leaving a rock, etc in the door to allow re-entry (security?). They do have breakfast but barely: coffee was getting cold, biscuits were hard/cold, grape jelly that I picked up was HARD in the pack, like plastic. "Cheese Omelettes" actually were filled with (I think) ground up ham, peppers, onions in a slurry-not very tasty at all. The dog run area was littered with poop but that seems to be a common problem, not with the hotel necessarily, but rather with obnoxious pet owners. I do not blame the hotel for that but it i still irritating.

They allowed us to check in early upon arrival. Room was clean. Hot shower, good breakfast, pool is open 24hrs, seemed like a safe location. Decent sized area for the dogs to do their business as well. Definitely stay here again when we go back to explore the area :)

due to exterior card readers being broken, we couldn't get back in close to our room - or our car. TV system was not as easy to use as other motels.

Its worth the extra fee. We have stayed at this hotel numerous times. Its beautiful, clean and the beds are SO comfy. Ice cold air conditioning is also a plus with the weather being so hot this summer! The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 bones is the breakfast, while still decent was no where near the quality that it always has been before. Hashbrowns weren't cooked completely and server didn't listen to how my husband wanted his breakfast. Plus the ham was dry and no yogurt. Front desk and house keeping staff were exceptional on this stay!

Unfortunately, the choices for dog friendly hotels in Elko is limited. The price for the quality of hotel you get is way off. $80 seems more appropriate. Dog area was unclean and you had to watch every step you took as well as your dog.

The room was great - clean and relaxing. The staff at check-in were warm and kind. The area for dogs outside, though, is very small and was filled with poop when we were there. Fortunately, there is a great city park just a little ways down the road.
One other issue - when I checked out, no one in the lobby was wearing their Covid-19 masks over their faces [staff and guests] even though there was a "masks required" sign on the front door. I did not feel comfortable and left immediately. - MarilynJul 4, 2020Great Spot

Rooms are always clean and front desk is always attentive and helpful. This is our regular stop when driving from CA to CO. A nice place to stay with the dogs.

Conveniently located on our cross country trip. I liked that breakfast started early (4am) and that the pool was large and open 24 hours. They allow well behaved pets unattended and we took advantage to walk a block over for great Mexican food. The room was large as well and the room was clean. Front desk staff were very nice.

Our king bed room was huge and the bathroom had a separate sink area. The bed and bedding were super comfy. They gave my dog a treat upon arrival and ask us to tell the front desk if we were leaving the dog in the room so they would call us if there was a problem. Breakfast was some better than the usuals.
