  Do Not stay here!

  I stayed here last January 2022. I arrived & I could not get in. There is no office to check in. I had to call BringFido, and they finally roused the creep who managed the place after an hour of sitting outside their locked gate. He came to the gate & heard me complaining on the phone to Fido, threw up his hands & left. It was another hour before I got in. Pretty weird, huh! The grounds are Ok, there are signs everywhere to keep your dog OFF the lawn, pool area, etc. Not a dog friendly place. The heater did not work in my room I had to email or TM to get help to fix it. You see no one. You cannot talk to anyone until a maintenance guy finally showed up. The price is excessive & I rate this place as a whopping big zero!

  Had a great time!

  A little weird that you had to text your credit card number to a unknown phone number. Place needs an update - everything is old but not vintage. The place is very clean and quiet. The backyard grass area was perfect for my two pugs. We will stay again but I will remember to bring my own coffee.

  Dog friendly and nice room

  Enjoyed our stay. Dogs loved the fenced backyard and dog walk area in back of hotel.

  Restrictive dog rules made it less than great

  Location is awesome. Staff is helpful and responsive, but not on site. All is done through text. When we arrived there was a posted hand written note on outside door to text a number to check in. Response was quick. Pool and hot tub nice, common area are fine for people but not dogs. They get little use because dogs not allowed anywhere on inside property. You have to go outside of property to relief or walk you dog. Very strict rules (with penalty fees $250 if you don't) and dogs cannot be anywhere in common area. Had we known this, we would have chosen something different. Felt mislead by information about this place and the strict restrictions on dogs.

  Dogs can't be in unit without you, but can be on cement patios in back of units which did not work for our dog. If you want to use the pool, you need to put your dog on cement patio or in car, we did not spend much time there. Units are old (1950) and renovation is ongoing. Lots of variation in units. the King studio was way too small. Larger units were better not much more in cost and we were able to move to one. Noise at night with repairs they were doing was annoying. Place in Sun is good for families but not for those with dogs. Would not recommend for dog owners because of all the restrictions. Price is reasonable and in line for what you get. Just know that your dog may not be happy there because of all the restrictions.

  Comfortable stay in Palm Springs

  Tony the Innkeeper was very welcoming and helpful during our stay. The grounds of the hotel are lovely, with many palm trees and a gorgeous pool and BBQ area. The rooms are mid century with a Hawaiian vibe. Nice pet friendly outdoor sitting area. Room was very clean. The room would be even better with more modern appliances (TV, coffee maker) and toiletries. Pleasant stay overall.

  Amazing find in Palm Springs

  If you are looking for a private suite with a patio, amazing pool and grounds, pet friendly and nostalgic history this is for you and your pooch. Built in the 50’s it’s not fancy but everything you need for a comfortable stay with amazing staff.

  Wow ! Huge Private Garden Bungalows & Next Doggie Park

  I LOVE this place for my large 3 sweeties, as they can run around in the private garden patio of my hotel bungalow with full kitchen. Amazing clean place, quiet just at the border of Downtown with a big flower park and the doggie walk with awesome fews of Tahquitz creek is just outside the door. My new top favorite doggy hotel i LOVE it! Comfy, friendly and safe. Oh and the pool was heated and fresh saltwater and like the big spa open 24/7 ❤️
