      Good location

      Good location if you are passing though south of Kansas City on Hwy 35. Mod Pizza is close by and very good. The staff was very friendly and check-in was very easy. Everything in the room worked. Just to one side of the entrance was an area that people used to smoke outside. There were a lot of butts littering the ground. When we got off the elevator the first thing we saw were several large bags of trash in the main hall. In the shower a closer inspection of several black specs revealed that they were moving insects. A little more attention to basic cleanliness would have been appreciated. We didn’t sample the breakfast so no comments there. As far as the dogs go we appreciated that our dogs were welcome, but the $70 fee for 2 dogs seemed a little high. There were no extra dog services provided.

      Perfect hotel!

      Easy going staff, simple stairs for pooches like ours who are afraid of elevators and minimal rules for well behaved pups. We had a great, quiet night sleep and Glory enjoyed her time here and the bunnies in the grassy areas around the hotel.
