This lodge was perfect for us and our pup. Owner was so welcoming and clearly loves dogs. There is a great place to walk your dog with hiking trail close by as well. Room was cute and clean and the bed was super comfy. Best night's sleep I have had in a week. Second time staying and plan to be back.

The room was minimally cleaned. It looked like the hardwood floors had been swept in the walking area but there were big clumps of dust on the edges and corners, dust and debris under beds, clumps of dust and hair in bathroom edges, and tub had not been cleaned.

We enjoyed our stay at The Lodge at Kennebunk. The front desk clerk was super friendly, the room was comfortable for 2 adults and our yellow lab, and the breakfast was nice. They had a few varieties of coffee, including a local coffee company, bagels, make your own Belgian waffles (regular and blueberry), cereal, hard-boiled eggs, and various juices. Our room had hardwood floors and a small refrigerator and microwave, which was perfect for our stay. The location was convenient, and there were plenty of grassy areas around our building to take our pooch outside to do her business.

My dog and I stayed here for a nosework trial in the area. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay here!

Scared of tub with no stopper, yucky shower head with little hot water and sketchy wiring; have to keep outside light on to keep tv on - enjoyed Disney Channel but no instructions about remote. Honestly too frenzied - grow grass - be more dog friendly - not leave keys in door for check in - anyone else can get in or copy key - staff was nice - shame though because it could be cute & pleasant but glad I only stayed one night

I'd definitely stay here again. The room was clean, the owners were nice, there was a good variety of food for breakfast and the location was perfect.
