Great location. A little pricey and some wear with age, but clean and in a prime Laguna Beach location. Short walk to beaches and tide pools.

While pets are allowed to stay for a fee, there is no place for pets to go to the bathroom on the property and ZERO outdoor trash cans. Our room was over $400 and it's not worth the price. Great location though.

We chose The Tides because it was one of the few hotels in Laguna Beach that allowed large dogs and had a reasonable rate. It's an older property but clean and well maintained, and had its own charm. The staff was really nice and very accommodating when we requested an early check-in. Great location, just a short walk from the center of Laguna Beach. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location. There were no chairs in the room. Asked for some, got a ratty old chair and had to use the metal chair from the patio. There should be chairs in the rooms at all times.

This hotel is small but kept up quite well. If your furries don’t like lots of car noises then this is not the place. Ours were ok but we suggest noise reduction windows be installed to help with the noise. Also, big cars will find it difficult to park.

We stayed and enjoyed it with our 2 dogs. We loved the kitchenette but the shower left a lot to be desired. It is very well taken care of.

Just a little too noisy but if you’re off the main road this motel is super convenient and comfortable for you and your doggie! Nice walking path across the street- lovely beach views and accessible to main beach. Recommended!
