I reviewed this before and gave it a 5 bone rating for lodging, room location, staff, food (great breakfast), and ease of getting our dogs in and out of room.

Lovely bed & breakfast in Victorian setting. Can have dogs in hotel lobby for a cocktail. Staff friendly,
great breakfast. No microwave or refrigerator in room so have to keep dog food in ice chest. Some traffic noise but otherwise a great stay. - JohnSep 28, 2023Wonderful ambiance
The entire staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were excellent and had that early California feel. They had a complete bar and a superb wine list. The breakfasts were scrumptious and the atmosphere tied into the decor. We had a service dog and she was treated with the same caring attitude that was shown with us. I would recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone wishing a remarkable place to stay.

We stayed here while we celebrated my very good old dog pulling through a rare illness and our first trip anywhere since quarantine. Brought her to see the ocean and redwoods. The buildings are gorgeous and our room was so cute. It had a working fireplace. We got to meet a few of the other guests and everyone was just so lovely. Breakfast was great. Thank you for having us

The staff was amazing and very friendly. The hotel room was very comfortable with our large dog. She enjoyed her first elevator ride.

The staff was awesome, our dog was allowed in the lobby and the bar and they could not have been more welcoming. The room was exceptional, clean and extremely comfortable. We had a fireplace and a jacuzzi tub which we haven't seen in many dog friendly places. The food was great too. Location is good and easy walking distance to downtown.
