Our gps easily found the address and we were warmly greeted and assisted with maps and ideas. Very organized. We got the “Elmo” room which provided enough room for our dog to stretch out and even play. Quiet street allowed for walking and seeing old homes close to river and park but drove there. Yes I recommend for BNB.

The home was absolutely beautiful, and the owners and all the staff were extremely friendly and gracious. We were travelling with two large dogs and everyone was extremely kind and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay at Devereaux - Absolutely loved talking to the cook and her assistant - we would go back just to talk to them again. Place was clean, had an enjoyable and good breakfast and our little Buddy was happy and content.

My husband and I were looking for a dog friendly place to stay in Natchez and Devereaux Shields House came up on BringFido. It was a lovely, historic B & B. It was clean and the furniture very pretty, the owners and staff were very welcoming and accommodating. They do have pretty strict rules for pets but it’s such a beautiful, fun place to stay, it was worth it. The rules were common sense anyway, and were there to keep the property nice and the atmosphere pleasant for everyone. Breakfast was great- one day we had quiche, ham, toast and fruit and the next day we had French toast casserole, scrambled eggs, sausage and fruit. There was also a wine and cheese reception with the owners and other guests the night we arrived. The owners and staff also provided information on pet friendly restaurants in Natchez, which helped a lot. We would definitely stay here again!
