      Beautiful Historic Hotel

      Our Border Collie and Aussie were very welcomed. But our oldest guy didn’t like the elevator so we walked the stairs and prayed we did not meet another “dog guest.” Our issue, because of our dog’s personality!

      Really nice hotel

      A little threadbare, as old hotels can be, but all in all a great place to stay. Really nice and helpful staff, very positive experience with respect to dog friendly, excellent hotel restaurant, the town of Alpine has quite a few nice places to eat (better than Marathon or Marfa), and it's conveniently located for traveling to Big Bend NP. Definitely a thumbs up recommendation.

      Great hotel in the center of town

      Super friendly and classic historic hotel! Love the central location in Alpine with a pet friendly park right across the street. We will definitely book here again!!

      Great dinner

      My dog enjoyed the stay at Holland Hotel. Dogs aren’t allowed in the dining room, but can join you in the courtyard dining. Unfortunately the patio didn’t open due to severe weather forecast. I was told we could be served in the lobby, which didn’t sound so great, until we saw the lobby. Historic decor, a huge banquet table in the center, instead of “outcasts” we felt like royal treatment. Our server Katilyn brought a dog bowl with water, and gave us excellent attention despite her having other tables to serve in the restaurant. I almost hope the patio dining is closed the next time too!
