We had a nice stay here. Dogs were welcomed with a bed and double bowl. We walked to the beach and watched the sunset. Staff was lovely. I had a bit of trouble with the key to my room and left it unlocked while we were out. Fortunately, no one entered.

We have been stopping at Casa de Leyendas twice a year for the past 8 years. They never disappoint. They even give us blankets and bowls for our fur babies.

Wonderful surprise, friendly and attentive staff, free breakfast, nice restaurant attached. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Added plus, there was an awesome band playing at the restaurant. Also just a block from beach!
- AlisterNov 5, 2022Great location, pet friendly but limited
Pros: virtually on the malacon, large room, lovely rooftop patio (x2), very friendly and helpful staff!
Negs: nowhere to walk your pets except on the street leaving them somewhat desperate for relief. No parking but an off site compound can be arranged for 300-500 pesos. Really difficult to load/unload- entrance right on the street. Can be noisy with street traffic and revelry. - SusanOct 14, 2022A Hidden Gem
Love this location! Very pet friendly at the hotel and the neighboring restaurant!! This hotel is beautiful, friendly and helpful staff, and the breakfast was delicious. Close to the malecón and parking wasn’t a problem. A must stay in Mazatlán!! Highly recommend.
- RebeccaDec 27, 2020Charming B&B with Delightful Staff
This place was recommended to us by others traveling with dogs, so despite the questionable “wisdom” of staying in Old Town Mazatlan pulling a trailer and with three dogs, we are SO glad we did. Beautifully decorated former home, complete with a courtyard, pool, terrace, and - thank you Jesus - REAL coffee in the room with coffee maker, this place is a delight from start to finish. The staff were exceptionally helpful, especially Epifanio, who found us secure parking for car and trailer just across the street. We look forward to going back, without dogs OR car so that we can properly appreciate the space and setting. Go! Stay! Lie down!

Can’t say enough good things about this B&B. Rooms are creative and quirky, common spaces are fabulous, and management is exceptional. There is restsurdd as my downstairs that gets noisy, but all is quiet by 10:30. Block from malecon and beach. Really, really sweet.

Very comfortable room and beautiful hotel. Allows large dogs which is rare and awesome! Will stay here again 100% if back to Mazatlan.
- ShelliJan 19, 2020Great hotel in Old Town Mazatlan
The location of this hotel is sublime. The museum/park across the street.... the beach a half block away. The dog friendly restaurant (with delicious food)... the Mazatlan malecon... perfect. The staff was friendly. Great place.
