Very pleasant stay, clean nice room. Grassy area in front of the hotel and apparently, I'm the ONLY pet owner that cleans up after their pet. All in all a great stay but there isn't an elevator due to the hotel's age. Otherwise, we would stay there again.

Nice clean room, not much grass area for dogs. Got there while hurricane came thru and the lost power shortly after checking in and didn't come on til 4 am. So I can't fairly rate this motel.

Front desk man was extremely nice and helpful! Outside was a tad dirty but the room was clean. For the rate it is, it is exactly what you would expect, nothing more, nothing less.

While the room was updated and generally fine, the condition of the exterior environment was really inexcusable. When I checked in, all the outside trash cans were spilling over, with trash being put on the ground around the cans because there was no room in the cans. I thought they would be emptied the next day but two days later, I had to actually tell them the trash cans everywhere were overflowing and ask them when they were going to empty the trash. Then they finally did it that day but when I left a few days later, things were in the same condition again. They need to empty the trash cans every day! Also, there was trash all over the grounds and in the parking lot - things like disposable gloves, food bags, mini-liquor-bottles and that sort of thing and no one ever walked around and picked up the litter. I was there for almost a week for a local event, and I think the owner may have been on site each day but did not bother to walk around himself and pick up the litter.

Staff friendly, room easily accessible, bed very comfortable, clean, mall and restaurants right next door, greenway along the River for morning run or walking the dog. My only two negatives are the breakfast is minimal because of COVID and, having a dairy allergy I couldn’t eat anything. And second, there was a questionable man in the parking lot that made me uncomfortable. But he came and went with no issue! Overall I’m happy with our stay!

First room smelled like Cigarettes and booze. Changed rooms was easy and the rooms are actually decent. Staff is extremely rude and not welcoming whatsoever. It’s very confusing trying to check in..there were signs to check in with a bell..but no one there you have to walk inside the next door and they’re was the front desk looking and didn’t even acknowledge us. ALSO SHE TRIED TO CHARGE ME $20 FOR MY DOG! I told her I had an email confirmation from BringFido stating there was no extra fee (the whole reason I stayed) she did not charge after I showed her. No dog poop bags anywhere so don’t forget yours.

While we expect a clean hotel and room at a reasonable rate, the friendliness of the staff is what really makes the difference. Enjoyed my stay and will be back.

Everyone who works here is incredibly warm, friendly, and kind. The rooms are comfortable, and my dog slept like a rock too!
