Dogs are allowed at Trinidad Lake State Park Campground, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle. For more information on pet restrictions, please call (719) 846-6951.
There are two campgrounds in this park with a total of 73 sites. There are several sites which are open in winter also. The area is known for great fishing, water skiing and windsurfing. In the winter enjoy ice fishing, hunting, or winter wildlife watching.

My favorite camp night of 2021 so far: lovely view of the lake and hills. spacious site, easy access to pit toilet and space to walk the dog safely. Site was mostly clean: had a few bottle caps and the last visitor’s single dog doo deposit. Friendly RVer’s surrounded our site.
