Dogs are allowed at Cayo Costa State Park Campground, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle. For more information on pet restrictions, please call (941) 964-0375.
Cayo Costa State Park Campground is located on one of Florida's undeveloped barrier islands. Guests can enjoy the beaches, beach combing, fishing, boating, biking, bird watching, picnicking, kayaking, canoeing, and more! Flush toilets and showers are available for your convenience. Leashed dogs are welcome, but must follow park rules. While they are allowed in the tent area, they are not allowed in the cabins, or on the beaches. The campground is accessible only by passenger ferry or private boat. Reservations are required on the ferry service. Visit cayocostaferry.com or call Captiva Cruises at 239-472-5100 for ferry reservations.
