Mongaup Pond Campground

Take a dip in the largest body of water in the Catskills (besides the reservoirs). Mongaup Pond Campground is set in forest preserve land and offers an array of large campsites set in beautiful, wooded locations. Some are waterfront, offering easy access to the lake. Boat rentals are available for those who wish to explore the water, or you can enjoy the numerous area hiking trails. In the summer, check out the Environmental Educational Recreation programs, which include nature hikes, crafts, and games. Campground includes restrooms with showers, trailer dump station, sand beach and more.
