    Description

    Cumberland Falls is known as the Niagara of the South because it is the largest waterfall south of the Niagara. The falls are just as spectacular too, with a 125 ft wide wall of water that drops into a boulder-strewn gorge. The area is also a natural choice for water-sports enthusiasts, offering white-water rafting, canoeing, swimming, and fishing. Dog owners will also enjoy hiking in this lovely area, as a majority of the park's 17 miles of hiking trails are pet friendly. The park also has an Olympic-size pool, and offers guided rafting trips on the Cumberland River. The campground is open from mid-March to mid-November, and has 50 campsites with electric and water hookups. Amenities include showers and restrooms, a grocery store, and a dump station.

      Great for dogs and kids

      Beautiful views, lots to explore for pups & kids. Sandy beach was unexpected and enjoyable.
