Tomoka State Park Campground

Dogs are allowed at Tomoka State Park Campground, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle. Dogs may not be left unattended at the campsites. There are no pet fees. For more information on pet restrictions, please call (386) 676-4050.

Description

This campground is located in a shady spot near the Tomoko River. Sites all have electric and water hookups, and other amenities on site include a dump station, restrooms, hot showers, and a library. It is a great base for exploring all the wonders of the confluence of the Tomoka and Halifax Rivers in a landscape of marshes and oak forests.

Great Campground
Tomoka State Park was better than we expected! The sites are all nice and private and offer water and electric. Their are a few short trails along the water up at the northern tip and throughout the camping area, perfect for hikes with the doggo. There's also an Outpost that has a baot ramp, all the supplies and draft beer with outdoor seating on the water.

Good fun
Stayed here for the weekend and had a great time with my two boys. It was enjoyable to walk with them and they provided dog bags throughout the park to pick up after them. The camp area is very shaded which was nice so that the dogs paws didn’t get burned.
