Dogs are allowed at Musick Guard Station Campground, but they must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet when outside your vehicle. Dogs are allowed at the tent sites, but not in the cabins. Description
Enjoy a rustic experience in the still-active Bohemia mining district at Musick Guard Station Campground. The two-story cabin was built in 1934 and sits atop a narrow ridge with beautiful mountain views. The cabin has two double wooden platform beds and four bunks without mattresses. It is heated by a woodstove but visitors should remember to bring firewood for both the heat and the wood-fired kitchen cooking stove and oven. Utensils are not providded. The cabin does not have electricity or running water, so be sure to bring a light source and water with you. A vault toilet is located nearby. It is a remote, beautiful spot in the midst of dense forest and rugged mountain peaks.
